Laurent Poole serves as President and Chief Executive Officer for GHI. In this capacity, he is responsible for all activities of the company including identification of acquisition opportunities, due diligence, legal and regulatory issues, financing and development of asset investment strategies. Laurent has over 25 years of experience in the real estate investment industry. Prior to creating GHI, he worked for The Sabey Corporation, one of the Pacific Northwest’s preeminent real estate investment, development and construction firms. Laurent is a graduate of the University of Chicago.

Jennifer Chase serves as Executive Vice President for GHI. In this capacity, she is responsible for asset specific investment strategies, capital harvesting and redeployment, and ensuring incremental value is maximized. Jennifer has over 17 years of experience in the luxury lodging industry. Prior to creating GHI, worked for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, the largest owner and operator of luxury hotels in North America. Jennifer is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Hotel Management.

Jeremy Stepak serves as Vice President of Finance for GHI. In this capacity, Jeremy has oversight for the finance and financial reporting functions for the company’s redevelopment project in Mexico. Jeremy has 7 years of experience working in Accounting, Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures. Prior to working at GHI, Jeremy worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte Corporate Finance in Toronto. Jeremy holds a Masters in Management and Professional Accounting degree from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CA). He resides in Mexico full-time.

Pete Taggares serves as Vice President of Business Development for GHI. In this capacity, he assists in all activities of business development including business modeling, financing, identification of acquisition opportunities, and development of asset investment strategies. Prior to working at GHI, he worked for Vineyard Development Group in Scottsdale, AZ and Navigant Consulting in Seattle, WA. Pete attended the University of Washington in which he graduated Cum Laude from the Business Honors Program with a degree in Finance.

Alison McCloskey serves as Vice President of Special Projects for GHI. In this capacity, she assists in all special initiatives relating to hotel operations with a focus on Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and Strategic Planning. Alison has ten years of international experience in the travel industry. Prior to working at GHI, she worked for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, Princess Cruises, Isis On Demand, and engaged in development aid work in South East Asia. Alison is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Media, Information and Technoculture. She resides in Mexico full-time.

Melissa O'Day serves as Executive Assistant for GHI. She has worked in the real estate field for eight years and has been with GHI since September 2007. She previously worked at Goodman Real Estate as the assistant to the president, George Petrie. Melissa has worked in many levels of finance and mortgage industries as a loan processor, loan officer and real estate sales agent. Melissa is currently working toward a Business Management degree in Phoenix, AZ.
